Beloved Brokenness – A Weekend Retreat

August 7 - August 9
Trees on lake

Theme: Beloved Brokenness

Surrounded by the beauty of nature, we will reflect on the precious, broken, dismembered body of God, of which we all are a part, and on how She/He will not, cannot rest until out of our broken, dismembered state we are all re-membered.

Leader: Lawrence Taylor has been involved with the Church of the Saviour since the 70’s, when he began attending eight day Benedictine retreats at Dayspring.  He has long been an essential part of the silent retreat ministry at Dayspring.

Weekend retreats run Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. The silence begins Friday night after dinner when the leader opens the retreat and introduces the theme. The group will gather for brief morning and evening reflections by the leader on Saturday. The silence ends after breakfast Sunday morning with a time of sharing and worship, followed by lunch and departure.

The cost for weekend retreats is $325.  A $150 deposit is required to register.

We serve family-style, homemade vegetarian food which includes eggs and dairy. If you have any allergies or medically advised dietary restrictions, please let us know, and we will accommodate your needs if we can.
