Let Go and Let God: Opening Ourselves to the Presence of the Holy Spirit – A Weekend Retreat
November 3 - November 5
Theme – Let Go and Let God: Opening Ourselves to the Presence of the Holy Spirit
Our retreat will begin with a brief reflection leading us into the great silence. In an atmosphere of silence, solitude, and community we will open ourselves up to God’s divine presence and action within. This weekend will be an opportunity to let go of agendas, distractions, and obstacles so we can rest in the Presence and let the Spirit love and refresh us.
Leader: Mike Little has spent more than three decades working with Church of the Saviour ministries in Washington, D.C., and has been a member of Bread of Life Church for the last 32 years. Mike has a life-long commitment to justice-seeking movements for social change.
Weekend retreats run Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. The silence begins Friday night after dinner when the leader opens the retreat and introduces the theme. The leader usually offers brief reflections with morning and evening prayers on Saturday. The silence ends after breakfast Sunday morning with a time of sharing and worship, followed by lunch and departure.
You must be fully vaccinated against the coronavirus in order to attend weekend retreats.
The cost for weekend retreats is $275. A $125 deposit is required to register.
