Theme: What Does the Lord Require of Me?
Life is inundated with questions in these changing times. In faith, one looks inward, asking, “How can I live justly, show mercy, and walk humbly in this world of chaos?” As we come together in spiritual community to seek answers, we will reflect on God’s invitation and assurance to “Call upon me, pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:12-13)
Leader: Amelia Harris is a long-time retreat leader and friend of the Church of the Saviour and Dayspring. She is Co-Pastor emeritus of Newborn Community of Faith Church, Co-Founder of Intersection of Change in Baltimore, MD, and first Program Director of Martha’s Place, in partnership with Samaritan Inns, serving women overcoming addiction and homelessness.
Weekend retreats run Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. The silence begins Friday night after dinner when the leader opens the retreat and introduces the theme.
